Ben von Lancaster is a beautiful long haired 6 year old German Shepherd. So often the long haired German Shepherds are gentler and Ben is a good example. We were told that Ben is trained to assist the hard of hearing. Sadly, kind and devoted Ben ended up in a crowded, high kill shelter. The family lost their home, it is a story we are hearing over and over. He is housebroken and good with children. Ben is calm and wonderful with the other dogs. He is easy to walk and mellow. It pains us to see him in a noisy kennel, but we know there will be another family who will love to have him!
